The giveaway is open until midnight 31st December 2009 (Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time) so if you haven't already left a comment, then pop here and do it! :)

I have 2 new entries to share today!

First we have this lovely card from Margriet of The Netherlands:

From Margriet:

"I edged a cream card with brown ink, and glued a piece of background paper to it. I punched a paper ribbon from cream cardstock and adhered it together with a pink ribbon. I stamped the Wilton Fleur (Different Colors) with brown ink, cut it out and colored it with distress inks. The retro flower is punched out from background paper".

"The butterflies (Cavallini) were stamped with brown ink, cut out and embellished with faux gemstones,
then adhered with foam tape. The words butterfly and fly (Artjourney) were stamped and edged with brown ink and glued to the ribbon"
.

So pretty Margriet!

Next we have a great pyramid card from Joy Rumble of New Zealand:

Joy's card can be folded flat to send in the post:

From Joy:

"The pink was stamped with Autumn leaves "Elegent Flourishes" in pink then clear embossed. I made the flowers with a punch. The leaves are from the vine border, which had Pearl-ex Pearl White dusted over them, and I made the btterflyusing the cuttlebug. I attached everything onto white card which was embossed with Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder . The card was made using 3 pieces of card the same size, scored diagonally & joined together. Used pearls for embellishments".

Very nice Joy!

That's it from me for today. I'm off to see New Moon for the 2nd time! :) Wooohoo!

Twas the night before Christmas.....

Hello stampers!

Just one more sleep here until Santa comes! The kids are very excited and so am I! LOL!

I've still got lots to do though - finish cleaning the house, wrapping presents, etc. It will be a late night I'm sure!

I'm looking forward to the Christmas carols on TV tonight. Here in Australia we have "Carols By Candlelight" which they show on the TV on Christmas Eve every year. Celebrities from all walks of life come together and sing Christmas Carols. It's a lovely way to spend Christmas Eve at home with the family!

Our first entry for today is some lovely Christmas cards by Karen Dimmock:

From Karen:

"The cards were made with Stampin' Up cardstock Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla. I used my new favourite stamp set of Stampin' Up - "Snow Swirled" for the background, tree and greeting with Chocolate Chip and Pink Pirouette inks. I also added some pink Kaiser rhinstones for some bling. On the more grungy card I also sponged around the edge of the card with Chocolate Chip ink".

Such lovely designs Karen!

Next we have a cute little tag that was sent in by Ros Crichton:

From Ros:

"My tag was painted with vanilla acrylic paint. I then adhered some pink weathered scrapbook paper and then stamped the scrolls in "Close to Cocoa" ink onto the painted tag. I heat embossed the butterfly. The butterfly underneath was heat embossed with white embossing powder and the butterfly on top was done in "Close to Cocoa" Ink then cut out. I added little pearls to its body. The verse is a Tim Holtz stamp. Finally I added the gorgeous pink and brown polka dot ribbon".

Adorable Ros!

That's all from me for today - I hope you all have a lovely night with your families! :)

So many new entries!

Hello stampers!

It's so great to see so many of you taking up this month's challenge! I thought I'd be all by myself this month with everyone so busy before Christmas!

Today I've got quite a few new entries to share! So lets get straight into it!

First we have this great altered tin by Danielle Sheehan:

Danielle altered a lolly tin using some Daisy D's and Kaiser scrap bits of paper and Nestabilities circle die cut shapes. She created a gorgeous shabby chic look using crackle paint on the lid:

Danielle used stamps from Hero Arts and Basic Grey, and Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

What a great gift idea Danielle!

Next we have a lovely ATC from Damaris M of the USA:

From Damaris:

"I've used a black eyed susan Memory Box flower stamp, an A Muse sentiment and a Hero Arts scallop border stamp".

Very pretty Damaris!

Check out this gorgeous gift set from Laurence Schmitz of Belgium:

Who wouldn't want that as their Christmas gift? Wow!

Here is a close up of her gorgeous "Christmas Recipes" book:

From Laurence:

"I painted old pages from a book with ivory acrylic paints and when dried I tore strips and glued them on a piece of cardstock to make the cover of my "Xmas recipes" book. I partially applied pink acrylic paint on the cover".

"I filled a Glimmermist bottle with walnut ink and used a punched star as a mask. When dried, I outlined the star with a sepia pen and heat embossed my damask stamp with ivory embossing powder. I stamped a flourish in the left corner and embellished a tag. I found a lovely basket at Ikea and put home made cookies, marmelade and tea together with my recipe book".

Stunning present Laurence!

Next up we have a lovely Christmas card by Be(e) of Belgium:

From Be(e):

"I started out with cream cardstock. I did some repetitive stamping on the background. It took a bit of time and effort to first stamp all the snowflakes one after another, and then stamp the little circles in between. I chose for the color stucco to do so, which is like an orange pink. I distressed the edges of the card with chocolate ink. I used that same ink to stamp the sentiment and distress the edges of the shape. I did some clear embossing on the sentiment and added two gemstones to make it stand out a bit more".

Great work Be(e)!

Phew! This is a long post! Is everyone still with me? You are? Good! Just one more to go!

This darling little tag was sent in by Fiona Shultz:

From Fiona:

"I made an oval-shaped tag for my entry out of scraps of brown and cream cardstock, and I used Maya Road Clear Stamps 'Jasmine' to stamp the flowers using Tombow brown pen #879 on pink cardstock. I cut the flowers out carefully so they could be layered between and over my ovals. I distressed the front and back oval edges and inked them with the brown Tombow pen. I added a little brown/pink ribbon, pink rhinestones and kindyglitz to finish".

"Because this tag was for someone special who challenged me to see how clever I could be with my Christmas gift giving this year, I made a matching 'sour cream container' from this tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers using an odd piece of cardstock from SEI. I altered the measurements of the container to be 12" x 8". I sealed it with a strip of brown bazzill punched with Martha Stewart 'scallop dot' border punch".

What a sweet little gift Fiona!

I do have one more entry in my inbox, but I'm keeping that up my sleeve until tomorrow!

Only 2 more sleeps until Santa comes! Are you all ready??! I can't wait! Me thinks Santa may even leave a present here at Inkurable.......

You girls have been busy!

Wow - my inbox is positively overflowing with gorgeous cream, brown, and pink creativeness! You girls have been busy over the weekend!

Today's first entry is a lovely part favour which comes from Vicky Fernando (click to enlarge):

From Vicky:

"I wanted a quick & easy party favour bag for my daughter's birthday party so I thought what could be easier than a cone shape filled with lollies!".

"The cardstock is pink pearlescent Christina Re, & I've used a scalloped Nestabilities shape, an EK Success circle punch, and a Collections chipboard heart".

"The stamps are SeeDs (xoxo), Non Sequitur (butterflies), & Cherry Pie (bricks), & I've used Vivid ink (pink), Versafine (for the bricks), StaZon black (for the b`flies) & Adirondack (to colour the heart) & my crop-a-dile to punch the holes. The ribbon is actually torn satin fabric".

What an awesome party favour Vicky! I bet your daughter and her friends were thrilled!

Next we have a gorgeous Christmas card from Godelieve Tijskens of Belgium:

Godelieve has used stamps by Art Journey which she stamped with Memories White, and Versafine Vintage Sepia. A Fiskars border punch and Tim Holtz paper distresser were used to add texture and interest to her card.

So pretty Godelieve!

Next we have a great mini album from Marianne Verschoof of The Netherlands:

From Marianne:

"I began with a cream paper and folded it and did some cuttings, so you can fold into one square again. I used some photos of my sister and her children (this is for my sisters birthday), and made them brown on the computer. I matted the photos on brown paper"

"Most stamps I used are from Penny Black and some from Basic grey. Used a pink ribbon, and the letters "L O V E" on the front are embossed with embossing powder".

"The rest I kept simple, because I think the attention has to go to the photos, and you can't put too much in, otherwise it becomes to thick when it is folded into one square".

What a lovely present for your sister Marianne!

Next is a yummy Christmas card from Stempelientje of The Netherlands:

Stempelientje used a Darkroom Door Plaid background stamp, and the other stamps are from Clear Art.

Stempelientje has used Copic markers for the colouring, and a Spica marker for the twinkle in the squirrel's eye.

Gorgeous Stampelientje!

I don't know about you guys, but I am LOVING this colour combination! Such a yummy, vintagey, shabby chic look! I love how the look varies too, when more of one colour is used.

OK - just one more entry for today - I'm gonna make you wait for the others until tomorrow!

The last entry for today was sent in by Willy Anderson of Spain:

From Willy:

"First I stamped background text (Crafty Individuals CI-258) on pink paper (Basic Grey-Two Scoops-Strawberry Smoothie) with StazOn Timber Brown ink. Then I twice stamped the hearts with stems (Paperbag Studios-Little Feet sheet)".

"Next I stamped heart (from hearts with stems), cake (Art Journey-Celebrate sheet) and congrats (Art Journey-Gorgeous Kids sheet) on cream paper, cut them out and glued them onto the card. I distressed the edges with Timber brown ink and glued the card onto brown cardstock"
.

Stunning card Willy!

I'll be back tomorrow morning to share some more new entries, so make sure you come back to see them! :)

Wooo! More new entries!

Happy Saturday stampers! Not long now until Christmas Day! How exciting!

In the meantime, I have some lovely new challenge entries to share with you!

First up we have this Christmas card by Jen Sweatman:

Jen created her background using a Hero Arts pine flourish stamp, clear embossed on cream paper. Tattered rose and antique linen distress inks were applied over it using non stick craft sheet and water mister. Jen added a cluster of embellishments and the sentiment (also by Hero Arts) was heat embossed in white on Tim Holtz ticket. Edges distressed with more distress ink.

Lovely work Jen!

Next we have a shaker Christmas card by Chloe Nielsen:

From Chloe:

"The papers are Rusty Pickle and so is the stamp with which I have used brown paint. The scalloped sticker is by Kelly Panacci Inc. To finish, I have used brown ric rac, cream ribbon, pink rhinestones and glitter".

Very pretty Chloe!

Finally for today, we have this lovely card and bookmark set that was sent in by Jenene Evans:

From Jenene:

"I have used cream card, and added brown colour Darkroom Door patterned paper. I stamped a flower from Darkroom Door Full Bloom collection onto paper from Kelly Panacci, cut it out and pasted onto the card, and stamped 'Just for you' from Paper craft".

"Next I made a corner book mark cut from Darkroom Door and Kelly Panacci papers, stamped a flower shape from Paper Craft stamps, cut out and pasted onto corner of book mark then attached a pink diamond. I then finished of with cord ribbon from Tarisota Collections".

What a great gift idea Jenene!

A card to share!

Hello stampers!

I hope you are all well and enjoying this time of year!

My baby finished her first year of primary school yesterday! She's done very well this year and we are so proud!

But then how's this - last night some low lifes came and stole the solar garden lights from our front yard (which were part of our Christmas lights display)! Can you imagine? They're not expensive, and they are very common, so it's not like they're hot property! These people just thought they'd come and help themselves! Nice Christmas spirit - not! No point dwelling on it though - Karma will take care of them! :)

Then I get a note in my mailbox that someone has backed into my hubby's car while reversing out of their driveway! No real damage, which is good, but come on! Bad things happen in 3's so I dread to think what's next! LOL!

The good news is that I have a new entry to share today! Today's entry was sent in by Dawn Barratt:

Dawn used stamps from Stampit, Stampsmith, Tuscan Rose & Laughing Moon, inked with Sepia Archival ink.

Dawn used Bazzil patterned paper, double mounted on cream and brown cardstock, raspberry bazzill base with ribbon, flower and a little bit of bling.

Great work Dawn!

Stay tuned - I'm about to announce the prizes that are on offer this month from our sponsors. :)

Yay! Finally our first December entry!

Phew! I was starting to think I was all on my own this month! LOL!

Our first Cream, Brown, and Pink entry are these cute little inchies that were sent in by Tammy Ruddy:

Tammy used some letter stamps in texture paste, a butterfly punch, and some Mod Podge, glitter, and gems.

Great work Tammy!

Now, in case you're wondering, I haven't forgotten to announce the prizes for this month! Just waiting on one sponsor to get back to me, so I'll post them as soon as I can! But rest assured that I have a lovely bunch of goodies ready for this month's winners. :)

Happy stamping!
